How Do They Work
Choosing the right EC depends on a few different factors. The potential of ECPs to be effective depends on where you are in your cycle, when unprotected intercourse occurred, when you take the pill, and which pill you take. While the copper IUD is always the most effective option, there are 1â2 days each cycle when it may be the only effective option.
