How To Find Your Employment History

How to calculate next period date and ovulation time? – Dr. Teena S Thomas

When you are filling out a job application or applying for unemployment benefits, you may be asked for your employment history. This is a list of all the jobs you have held, including the companies you have worked for, job titles, and dates of employment.

In some cases, the hiring manager may only be interested in where you worked most recently. In others, the company may want an extensive employment history going back many years.

If you’ve been working for a long time, this may sound like a daunting task, but it is something you can recreate yourself even if you don’t remember exactly when you worked at each job. Once you’ve confirmed the details, you can keep track of subsequent positions moving forward, so it will be easier to provide the information to prospective employers.

What Is Pre Period

Pre period, also known as premenstrual syndrome , is a syndrome that up to 90% of women will experience in their reproductive lives. It is characterised by headaches, mood swings, feeling anxious, irritable or upset, feeling tired or having trouble sleeping, stomach pain, breast tenderness, spotty skin or greasy hair and changes in libido and appetite. The causes are not fully understood, but some doctors think it is linked to changes in hormone levels due to the menstrual cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions About Conception Dates And Conception Calculators

Is the date given accurate?

Its an estimate and gives a range based on your fertile period. The only way to know for a fact when you conceived is if you only had intercourse once between your cycles. The only way to know for sure is through ultrasound scan done after 8 weeks of pregnancy.

Can the conception date determine the father of my child?

It depends on when you were fertile and when you had intercourse. If you had intercourse with multiple partners during that time-frame, it could be either of them and the only way to accurately know is by a DNA test.

Why would I want to use a conception calculator?

As said in the above question, you might want to have a range as to when you actually conceived, especially if you were with multiple partners. You also might want to have an idea as to where you conceived to tell your children later on and embarrass them.

When Did I Conceive Based On An Ultrasound

Within the first two months of pregnancy, a woman will have her first ultrasound scan. Most of the time this is done to determine the due date, but sometimes it is done just to make sure the pregnancy is progressing normally.

From the scan, doctors can determine an estimated due date and a possible conception date. These dates are based on the measurements of the baby and of the uterus and how they correspond to average measurements.

Sometimes, the dates given from this scan can be off by a few days. For instance, a woman may think she is about 12 weeks and 3 days pregnant with a due date of August 10th and a conception date of November 17th, but her scan says she is about 13 weeks pregnant with a due date of August 6th with a conception date of November 13th. Does it change anything? Not at all. It just means that the measurements from the scan correspond to someone who is 13 weeks pregnant, and the dates are estimated based on that.

Scans given early in pregnancy are known to be off a few days, but later on in the pregnancy, the scans tend to be right on target. The only time a scan would indicate you were further along in pregnancy during late pregnancy is when the baby is larger than expected, either due to genes or macrosomia .

Just like basing your due date from your last period is an estimate, an ultrasound scan gives fairly accurate estimates about when your baby is due and when he or she was conceived.

How To Calculate A Menstrual Cycle And Menstrual Period

The menstrual cycle begins on the first day of your period. In other words, day one of the cycle is the day one of your period, cycle day two is the second day of your period and so on. In general, bleeding is there for three to five days and differs from one woman to another.

An important point to note is that the cycle begins from the day of your regular bleeding but not spotting. For instance, you started spotting on March 3, but the actual bleeding began a day later. So the first day of your menstrual cycle is March 4. Let’s say you bleed for five days, so, the duration of your menstrual period is five days for the month of March.

Now, if your next period started on April 2, then your menstrual cycle length is the number of days from March 4 to April 1 , which is 29 days. You should not count the first day of your next period because that day will fall under the next menstrual cycle.

In general, menstrual period is the number of days you bleed regularly and menstrual cycle is the number of days from first day of your last period to a day before your next period starts. The average length of the menstrual cycle is 28 days but varies from person to person.

Example Of Figuring Out When You Got Pregnant

Let’s say you had a period starting on February 1st, and you have a 28-day cycle.

  • Then mark the last day of your cycle. If your period starts on February 1, and you have a 28-day cycle, then you would mark February 28th as your last day.
  • Count back 10-14 days from February 28, which would be around February 14th-18th. Highlight these days. These are your most fertile days, so the days you most likely conceived would be around the 14th of February to about the 18th.

What Does It Mean If My Doctor Changes My Due Date

Your doctor may change your due date if your fetus is significantly smaller or larger than the average fetus at your particular stage of pregnancy.

Generally, your doctor orders an ultrasound to determine the gestational age of your baby when theres a history of irregular periods, when the date of your LMP is uncertain, or when conception occurred despite oral contraceptive use.

An ultrasound allows your doctor to measure the crown-rump length the length of the fetus from one end to the other.

During the first trimester, this measurement provides the most accurate estimation for the age of the baby. Your doctor may change your due date based on the ultrasound measurement.

This is most likely to occur in the first trimester, especially if the date estimated by the ultrasound differs by more than one week from the date estimated by your doctor based on your LMP.

In the second trimester, an ultrasound is less accurate and your doctor probably wont adjust your date unless the estimates vary by more than two weeks.

The third trimester is the least accurate time to date a pregnancy. Estimates based on an ultrasound can be off by as much as three weeks, so doctors rarely adjust dates during the third trimester.

However, its not uncommon for a doctor to perform an ultrasound in the third trimester if theyre thinking about changing your date.

When You Need To Know Your Employment History

It can be hard, especially if you’ve had a lot of jobs, to keep track of your personal employment history. However, when you’re applying for new positions, many companies want an accurate record of where you worked, especially when they’re conducting employment background checks. When you’re applying for unemployment benefits, you’ll need to provide your most recent work history as part of the application process.

If you don’t remember the details, and many people don’t, you can recreate them with information from the Social Security Administration, Internal Revenue Service, your state tax or unemployment department, and prior employers. It’s important to provide prospective employers with accurate information. Don’t guess where you worked and when, because, if you’re wrong, employers will want to know why.

If the dates don’t match what the employer discovers about you when they verify your employment history, it will be a red flag and could jeopardize your chances of getting hired.

Keep in mind that you can include the months/years you worked at a company rather than specific dates of employment on your resume. However, some job applications may require more specific details.

Can You Get Pregnant Right Before Your Period

First period – how to know when menstruation is coming?

This is a very rare occurrence, but it can happen if a woman has a very short luteal phase . In cases when a woman gets pregnant a few days before her period, ovulation occurred shortly before the start of a woman’s period, meaning the luteal phase was only a few days long. Short luteal phases often result in pregnancy complications and miscarriages, so be sure to speak with a doctor. Progesterone supplementation can save future pregnancies.
