This was a retrospective analysis of computerised records of women who visited Melbourne Sexual Health Centre between March 2011 and 31st December 2012. The triage nurse records the presence or absence of genital symptoms when the client first arrives at the clinic and before consultation with a clinician. When seen by a clinician, women are asked to estimate the date of their LNMP the first day of menstruation in their last normal menstrual cycle this is not client-entered data. Recording date of LNMP has been routine at MSHC since 2011. Clients returning within three months of their initial visit do not have this data entered.
